Montreal vacation Montreal vacation
Trying to plan a guys vacation to Montreal. Strippers and gambling being the main attraction. I need details!!?

I have searched all over the internet without much luck. I am trying to plan a vacation for a group of 8 guys. We love going to strip clubs and gambling. Ste-Catherine in Montreal seems to be the epicenter of adult nightlife. We’ve been to Vegas and want to try something a little new. What I am trying to figure out is where to stay and what clubs/casinos to plan our stay around. We won’t have our cars so we will mostly be walking around or using public transportation if it came to that.

Can someone please give me some inside information or some insight? It seems like most websites are shying away from the adult side of this city.

Thank you!

For casinos, you are limited in selection. Unless you go to an native reserve, the casinos are all regulated by the government, so Montreal only has one casino.

For strip clubs, there are many in Montreal, and I could not tell you which ones are the best today. When I did go to some (just after my college years), the best ones were Club Supersexe on St. Catherine, Wanda’s on de la Montagne street, and Les Amazones on St. Jacques.

You have to be careful because there are some pretty respectable places with gorgeous women, and there are some real dives that you are afraid to touch anything or catch some disease. And I remember one club had such poor dancers and comely women that my friends and I were watching a hockey game on the TV instead.

If you plan to look and not touch, the places I mentioned should be good for you. There are also legal clubs that offer “danse-contact” which is exactly what it sounds like…the women pretty much make contact with you while they do their sexy dancing. Just whatever you do, don’t let someone convince you to go to Club 281 unless you swing both ways…that’s the male strip joint!

Your best bet is to check into a hotel on Sherbrooke Street West, or down on Rene-Levesque Boulevard. The downtown bar/club scene is between those two east-west main roads, from Guy street over to Peel street. They also have tons of great restaurants there.

During the day, go hiking around Mount Royal Park, take the subway (safe/clean) and go check out parts of the city. The Go-Montreal website is pretty good for suggesting concerts and events that are going to be in town when you decide to come here.

If I could suggest a time, I’d recommend June, since you should get a deal on hotel rates since the Formula 1 race will not be held this year. Otherwise, July or August are the best times to come for all the festivals and great looking Montreal single-women not wearing heavy coats, hats, and such. icon wink Montreal vacation
