Let’s say for example you can not make your scheduled flight home due to an accident or illness. The average cost for medical repatriation from a popular tourist destination such as Spain is £17,500 which will not be met under the EHIC scheme. This is a pretty hefty cost for most people to have to meet.
Luckily, golf travel insurance covers medical expenses and can cover legal expenses, personal possessions, loss of passports and tickets and more. Can we afford not to take out travel insurance?
