Family Travel Insurance
Buying family travel insurance could save you time and money, and some companies even offer FREE travel for kids.
Rather than taking out separate policies, many travel insurance providers will offer deals for family travel insurance.
What people are saying about Asada Travel Insurance:
“I found Asda Travel Insurance really helpful – plane delayed in Gambia and they sorted out my claim and my girlfriend’s claim really quickly – seemed really polite on the phone. Seemed fairly cheap too and I don’t know much, but I trust them and the other supermarkets a lot more than Moneysupermarket – £3 for a weeks Travel Insurance is too good to be true!
I used to use Post Office but I lost my baggage in Norway once and they were downright rude on the phone. I’d definitely use Asda insurance again” Nicholas
Where can I buy travel insurance in NYC?
I am planning to travel out of US so I am looking into buying travel insurance. What type of travel insurance should I get and if I were to buy it online, how will I receive the insurance?

Travel Insurance Deals

I’m shopping for a Travel Insurance Deal but I don’t know what questions to ask to make certain I have proper coverage. There seem to be tons of deals out there and the prices vary a lot. For example: If I visit Toronto and I’m living in British Columbia what kind of coverage do I need?
Best Travel Insurance Deals
I’ve noticed bargain travel insurance seems to be from some of the no-name insurance companies and that makes me nervous. Then again sometimes these companies have very low overhead because they operate online and don’t need to pay for fancy expensive offices in the big city where leases are crazy expensive. So, where are the best ravel insurance deals? If you’ve found some and want to leave a comment that would help me and everyone else reading this blog!
Business Travel Insurance Deals
I’ve also heard that a good business insurance broker can get creative and put ‘riders’ or add-ons to a business policy which can save a lot of money on business travel insurance. That works great if you have your own company or your company is small enough that they are willing to make inquiries. Some business people though, like traveling sales representatives are stuck taking care of themselves. For them it’s worthwhile speaking to their home insurer. They can often make similar deals and add-ons to a home policy for the self-employed. the same goes for Family Travel Insurance Deals. Talk to your broker and see what he has to say. Another great source for family travel insurance is your credit card company.
Bolivian Car Insurance – Lonely Planet Travel Video
Work overseas. Travel insurance what ‘country of residence’ do I use?
I want to buy travel insurance, but they want to know my country of residence. I am a US citizen who is working in Japan. I am eligible to recieve the tax exemption for the IRS, so I have sent in forms saying I am living overseas.
This may sound like a silly question – but for the insurance would I want to put my country of residence as Japan or the US? When I emailed them it was like they had not even read my question.
if you have dealt with this before, I would appreciate knowing your experience! Thanks
ah yeah, I want the travel insurance to travel from Japan, where I work, to India for vacation.
Well, as I understand and use the term, “country of residence” is the country where you currently have your accommodation (for longer than just a vacation or an 8-week language course, etc.), receive your mail, etc.
I know it’s probably a drag, but have you tried getting a travel insurance from a Japanese insurer via a normal travel agent’s (if they have such a thing in Japan?). They might be more used to sell policies to Japanese residents with no Japanese citizenship, than US firms are to selling policies to US citizens not residing within (and not starting their journey from) the US.
also: in Germany, wherever there are large US military installations, there are also US lawyers, US car salesmen, and other stricly US services; couldn’t you find someone in Japan to help you via that route?
